Dream Time for the Children

“Dream Time for the Children” was taken place as one of the events in Soja Art Festival 2013. Its organizer was Gen Okabe, who is an artist creating with driftwoods. He had an inspiration from The Dreamtime, which is Aboriginal spiritual beliefs and existence.

Aboriginals believe that the Dreamtime was way back, at the very beginning. Many are interpretations of the Aboriginals Dreamtime which they believe was way back at the very beginning when the land and people were created by the Spirits who made the rivers, streams, water holes, the land, hills, rocks, plants, and animals. The Spirits, they believe, gave them their hunting tools and each tribe its land, their totems, and their Dreaming.
